Best practical course

The practical course "Performance von Anwendungen auf Cloud-Großrechner IBM z10" of summer term 2011 has been awarded as "Best Practical Course" of the faculty of informatics at KIT.

On today's semester colloquium celebrations, the practical course "Performance von Anwendungen auf Cloud-Großrechner IBM z10" was recognized as "Best Practical Course of the Summer Term 2011". The award is based on student votes evaluating a variety of aspects, e.g. practical relevance, relation to current research activities, and course organization. The newly introduced practical course of the IIC combines up-to-date research topics, like performance management and cloud computing, with state-of-the-art technology.
