ICSE Paper Accepted

The paper entitled "Performance Modeling in Industry: A Case Study on Storage Virtualization" was accepted for ICSE 2010.

The International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) is one of the world's leading conferences on software engineering. The accepted paper is one of 16 accepted papers (out of 71 submissions) in the "Software Engineering in Practice"-Track.

In this paper, the Palladio Component Modeling Approach was used to model and predict the performance of the IBM System z9 storage system. In their work, the authors Nikolaus Huber, Steffen Becker, Christoph Rathfelder,  Jochen Schweflinghaus (from IBM), and Ralf Reussner present how the Palladio Approach could be successfully applied to large-scale industrial software systems.
