Three Group Members Receive Awards at SPEC's Annual Meeting

Fabian Brosig, Nikolaus Huber and Michael Kuperberg were awarded with the SPECtacular Award from SPEC's President in recognition for their outstanding contributions to SPEC in 2011.

During SPEC's 2012 Annual Meeting in San Jose (California), Fabian Brosig, Nikolaus Huber and Michael Kuperberg were awarded with the SPECtacular Award by SPEC's President in recognition for their outstanding service to SPEC in 2011.

Fabian Brosig and Nikolaus Huber were recognized for their outstanding service as Local Organization Chairs of the highly successful ICPE 2011 conference co-sponsored by ACM and SPEC.

Michael Kuperberg was recognized for his exceptional commitment and service as first elected release manager of SPEC's Research Group (RG) and in particular for his contribution on establishing the tool submission and review processes as well as the technical infrastructure of the RG.

The awards were presented by SPEC's President Walter Bays at SPEC's Annual Meeting held in San Jose (California) from January 30 to Feb 2.
